Universal Eisen und Stahl GmbH, founded in 1958 and a full
subsidiary of Salzgitter AG since 2002, is one of the most
competent and highest performing providers on the market
today. At our warehouses in Neuss and Hanover we
stock some 60,000 tons of steel in 40 grades, which we are able
to deliver within a period of 48 hours - by truck, rail or ship. Steel
for structural engineering, crusher plates, ship sides or pressure
containers. We are represented in all key industries, such as
plant engineering, construction machinery, rail vehicles, bridge
construction, hydromechanical steel structures and energy, as
well as the onshore and offshore wind power industry.

We can procure anything we do not have in stock as we closely
collaborate with all key steel manufacturers. We process orders
that require burning and cutting, chamfering or milling at our
own torch-cutting facilities. This enables us to always meet our
customers' needs. Reliable, fast and secure. This is our world
of steel.

Quality creates trust.

For us, quality is more than just providing high-quality goods or
perfect processing, Quality is a part of our management process,
which involves our integrated management system as well as
environmental protection and work safety processes.

With this comprehensive system of controls, we are able to
guarantee trouble-free, reliable and economical processes. This
has been confirmed by independent appraisers.
